How to fill a DD Challan properly without any mistakes?

So do you want to take DD for educational purpose, for job or any other purpose?

It is usually not the most straightforward thing for many people.

Many clearly don’t know which fields are important and not to be missed.

Also how to fill one correctly, and what details need to be filled in each of the fields in a DD challan is not clear to many.

Well this video is for you if you are one of the many who has a few doubts about filling a DD challan.

And here are the DD commissions for a few banks listed below for your convenience:

3.50/- per 1000/- or part thereof minimum of 40/-
Above 1 lakh 3.50/- per 1000/- or part thereof with minimum of 400/- Maximum 12000/- per DD

      Rs. 5000 Rs. 25
      Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 Rs. 60
      Rs. 1000 to Rs. 100000 Rs. 5 per 100000
      Above rs. 100000 Rs. 4.50 per 100000

    Hello mam,
    video was useful, I have a doubt. I’m taking DD for Bharathiyar University to pay Exam fee, In what name should I take DD Bharathiyar University or Controllers of examination Bharathiyar University

      This should have been mentioned in the circular that requests you to take DD. They will usually mention the exact name that you should take the DD for.

    Axis bank DD charges how much for above 1lakh

      I took DD today and the charges for 10 lakhs was only Rs. 125.
