Central Bank is launching Digital currency for retail use on December 1st, 2022 in India. To start with, the digital currency is rolled out via banks in selected, leading cities.
Though this is a pilot launch, we can expect a regular launch pretty soon where digital currency will be available for everyone – in all cities, and via most banks.
