Merger of banks has been taking place since quite some time ago. In that process Syndicate Bank got merged to Canara Bank.
For the comfort of customers, the cheque book, IFSC code, SWIFT code of Syndicate bank continued to work for a while so that customers could make the necessary changes.
Syndicate Bank customers were notified of this a while ago too. But time is up and the cheque book, IFSC code, SWIFT code of Syndicate Bank will stop working from 1st July, 2021.
