November is a festive month in India, with many holidays celebrating various religious and cultural occasions. As a result, banks in India will be closed for several days in November 2023.

Let’s see the list of all bank holidays in India during November 2023, state-wise.

Please note that this list is based on the latest information available from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). However, it is always best for you to check with your bank directly to confirm the holiday schedule in your area.

Festivals and occasions celebrated in India during November 2023:

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, and it is one of the most important festivals in India. It commemorates the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. Diwali is celebrated on November 14th in 2023.

Govardhan Puja is another important Hindu festival that is celebrated on the day after Diwali. It commemorates the day when Lord Krishna defeated the demon Indra.

Chhath is a Hindu festival that is celebrated in Bihar and Jharkhand. It is a four-day festival that is dedicated to the Sun God.

Guru Nanak Jayanti is a Sikh festival that celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism. It is celebrated on November 27th 2023.
