Your netbanking username could be deactivated for some reason. If you have not been using your netbanking for a while (say few months or years), your netbanking username could be deactivated.
Or if your SBI bank account has gone dormant, your netbanking could be deactivated!
In addition, entering the wrong username for more than 3 times while attempting to login could result in the deactivation of your netbanking username.
This is for your safety. In any case, you can request for the reactivation of your SBI netbanking username, by submitting a requisition form at your branch.
